Mrs. G. Kok stands for Marlon Kok from Ransdorp, formerly Combination R.C. Kok & Zn. Marlon started with the pigeon racing in 1975 as a 15 year old boy together with his father Ruud Kok, but since his father passed away on 1 January
2004, he loose slightly pleasure in going further alone with the pigeon racing. But blood crawls where it cannot go and Marlon went on, alone and under another name, that from his
mother, Mrs. G. Kok. Marlon`s father started as a matter of fact also young with keeping pigeons. At the age of 11, he started together with his
grandfather, pigeon racing at the association Insulindepost, at that time just de Insulinde at a basement in the Commelinstreet in the east part of Amsterdam. So the family has already a long history with the pigeon racing and also
a lot of experience with the whole pigeon racing in general. There is also still a time raced under the name Kevin Kok, the son of Marlon. That was on the long distance flights. |
